While there was no specific time limit set by the herald for the tasks to be done to transform the land into something more hospitable all year round, the looming threat of being cut off from the world come Deepfrost was a very real one. They could hardly complete some of tasks when the winter season set in - so they would do what they could now, they would present the herald with the finished pieces of the puzzle as soon as possible.

He'd gathered what he could to make his offering. He was still so unused to the idea of the existence of gods and heralds, still so unaware if his actions meant anything to them, or how magic could affect the world. He supposed he would believe it better when he saw it - when they completed this and all of the tasks, when they resolved to enact massive change upon the region.

Ningoes seemed to be his default existence now. The place in the Citadel that they had built by the storage shed was booming with life, as the farm grew, as the ningoes who were larger and more fertile were selected to maintain breeding lines. He came to the area where the altar would eventually be built to the gods and heralds of nature, but he was not building an alter today - he was making an offering.

In his arms was a large blanket rolled up to be a sort of sack, and within was a  great many selections of ningo eggs, roast ningo and luxere (he had kept that part hidden from Auni), moss and root vegetables. He wanted to honour the nature aspect of Frey by celebrating that which Halo could grow, in all its splendour and glory. He had selected the best of his crop - the largest eggs, the most plump birds, the moss that fed the luxere, and the juiciest cut of meats. He'd gone to almost every family he could to ask for the best vegetables from their gardens, to put together a veritable feast before the herald, in hopes that they would accept the offerings and keep the promise to change the land upon which they all lived and thrived together.

He walked, with his sack over his shoulder, augmenting his strength with that of a moose as he unashamedly buffed up his muscles, though it gave him a bit of a hunched appearance, it made the task infinitely easier as his strength and stamina increased tenfold. He looked across the scene, smiling at those he passed, on the lookout for one in particular who would be joining him today, to make an offering of her own.
The only true wisdom is in knowing
you know nothing
