Look, you don't want to rob the Governor and his First Dude - you don't even particularly want to go inside the thing, once it's been christened - but a scoundrel's gotta do what a scoundrel's gotta do. And if Vai gets upset, well, really it's insurance to make sure they can check on her children the next time they do something thoroughly hair-brained like try to burn down the house.
