And he doesn’t realize he should have asked Frey for it – choosing to come to Safrin because he was hers. But he watches, eyes taking her in as she carries that neutral expression as she goes to explain what the plan might be. A barrier of starlight, something that has him internally brimming with the wonder of it all, the starry tattoos she’s bestowed on him shifting slightly in her presence.
The tasks are laid out and Sunjata dips his head to her, before casting a glance around to all the other Torchers gathered, before his steel gaze slips back to her with an easy, bright smile. “We will get it done.” He assures her, mentally making the tasks before he can write them down and get to orchestrating it. “Thank you Safrin. Again.” He rumbles with another dip of his head.
He'll have to make a point to see her again. Alone.
