and now we're breeding a feeling of animosity
The morning had brought with it a tinge of anxiety; the same creeping feeling she'd felt when she'd first ventured to Torchline for Longnight, the same feeling when she'd been about to return. Anticipation for what was on the other side. Knowing she'd made the choice to go, and was responsible for whatever happened because of it. It brought butterflies to her stomach, wondering if she'd brought enough furs, enough water in her skins, enough fruit for the trip from the portal to the citadel.
That being said, she had a rather large pack at her back, never one to be unprepared. She'd given Oliver a kiss on the cheek goodbye, and headed for the spire, coming upon it only ten or so minutes before the sun was at it's peak in the sky. She waited, relaxed, then stepped through, the familiar feeling of magic/ or it's scientific counter part pulled at her blood and ripple through her muscles.
In a moment she was on the other side, and a cold breeze whipped at her nose. She was taken aback by it at first, but once she realized that her layers were serving their purpose, she relaxed and opened her eyes to take it all in. To someone who had seen cavernous mountains and icy spires before this might not be so splendorous. To Aisha, it was like a crystal creature, it could be nothing less than the spine of a dragon, so white and sharp and elegantly brutal.
And then her golden eyes came to rest on Deimos, and a smile spread across her face, visible in her eyes as her mouth was buried in a scarf. He didn't give much in the way of greetings, he jumped right into the tour. Seemed about right, Aisha snorted as she walked forward to stand closer, "Hello Aisha, good to see you again," she grumbled in a low mockery of his voice. Her gloved hand moved out to grab his forearm, "Thanks so much Deimos, it's great to see you." Teasing him would never get old.
She gave another quick glance around, then gave a nod, "Later sounds good, citadel sounds warm."
