DEIMOS
The sound of iron shots is stuck in my head
The thunder of the drums dictates
Choices made, decisions honed, and the Sword left them to their tasks, considering them both capable, and not requiring him to stand around, survey, loom, or orchestrate. Instead, he straightened his stride and motioned towards the only assignation left; regarding the repair work necessary for bowed structures. Perhaps it was wise to have started out in his furs, for he began to dismantle the inner and outer workings of the wall, exposing the barracks to the cold once more as he began the assimilations, tearing apart the broken, dilapidated structure, and beginning to place more beams, more wooden frames, back into their confinements. No magic melded or molded, just yet, though he took suitable pauses to gather more beams and timber, Zuriel tilting her head in study – success and fortune in the carving of muscles, in the meticulous designation of brawn.

Amun would have similar success and luck – the weaponry perused over, damaged, and distorted would become immaculate, as if it had never suffered under the wrath of other blades or armaments. Rippling accords, Ascended upgrades, would polish the silver into regal condition, nearly brand new in their scruples, ready to be drawn again. Now all that was left was the sorting – from swords to daggers, from bows to shields, form any other particularly decent findings and scraps along the way.

Aisha, despite her best efforts, would find them waylaid. The spirit of the targets wasn’t in accord with hers. Maybe they were far too weary, far too disassembled, or couldn’t stand one more movement, one more siege. Even as she placed the filling, strands became unwound, fabric disintegrated, and some merely fell over in more pieces than where they’d started (a singular, irritating specimen deigning to land on her ankle). Perhaps it wasn’t worth the repairs, and she should’ve started anew? Fresh?

--

Deimos and Amun are successful in their tasks, while Aisha’s could use a little work.

Amun can begin sorting! Deimos will continue to restructure the wall, and Aisha might have to start the whole target creation over.

PQ will move on once everyone posts!
The rhythm of the falls, the number of dead
The rising of the horns, ahead
