It's metal on bone, and though the Queen is quite the predator herself these days, in moments such as this one the Lullaby is more than happy to surrender control to his more primitive nature. Meeting her claws with his and shrugging them off, it's perhaps this that causes her heated stare to go wide as his claws dig into her. Not before the burning white-hot of whatever is pouring from her eyes bores into him though. Somewhere deep down he can smell the singeing of his eyebrows and his beard, but it's muddled behind the bright pain of what feel like claws against his own throat.
But there's no blood. There aren't even any claws, seeing that he's thrown her off.
Hissing in a surprised breath as one of his hands moves to his throat, he glares with confusion at the Queen but only for a second before launching straight at her.
And I do mean straight at her. Aiming to collide directly into her, the Lullaby attempts to throw the Wraith's soul from her body.
So Wessex dodges the manticore's attack. Because it doesn't have HP, her splash-back does nothing. Remi's second attack hits for 30 damage. (Which splashed back on him for 60pts of damage)
Rolled a contested strength check since W tries to lock claws with R. He's easily able to shake her off.
Her attack hits for 20pts of damage, but she doesn't stun him.
