"I'd say that was unfair but..." Through clenched teeth, the alchemist exhales a stilted breath. "..it wasn't." He finishes shakily, trying to flash Wessex as understanding and congratulatory grin as he can manage.
Finally able to stand, Remi extends a hand toward the Wraith. That they are on different sides of all of this is mere happenstance, and up until now, the Lullaby has had nothing but the utmost respect for the ascended. He hopes it doesn't change—on both sides.
