Do I mind what?” Sunjata questions, shooting playful grin at the captain, shifting in his seat a bit to slide his book over and pick up one of Jack’s. If he’s going to be a shit about it might as well make it worth it, after all. So he flits through this new book, finding nothing particularly of interest, closing it with a quiet snap as his gaze lifts to Jack again, spying the dark circle around the captains neck, one that matches his own in surprising ways. And if there’s a bit of pride and amusement in him, so be it.

So he returns to his own book then, humming thoughtfully under his breath. “No opium or anything like that?” Surely there had to be something, and Sunjata’s previous world had been surprisingly adept at crafting opiates specifically for those pains that couldn’t be ignored. But he lifts a hand to look at the globe now, taking it in as he considers his next words, spinning it as his tongue runs along his teeth. “Anyway, the barrier and the coastal eroding.” He tries to bring them back on subject. “It’ll make it so you have to sail a certain way to get in.

Feel free to use magic/force on Sunjata, without killing him <3
Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
