For justice, maybe, but it doesn't change the fact that there are others who will not see it that way. She's seen seen Morgan's dedication to the Ascended, seen Jata's adoration for Nate - and she's seen how strong they both can be, knows from first hand experience how much of a fight they'll both put up if pressed. But once again the Priest appears to think he knows best, and Amalia finds herself faltering, balking, looking away and back at the row of pews.

"Of course I am," she replies almost petulantly, catching herself and inhaling sharply, her bare toes scuffing over the stone floor. "I just thought you might want more backup. Finn is hardly a fighter, Sera's an architect, and you..." Glancing the Priest up and down, Amalia raises a brow. "Have you ever fought an Ascended before? Or anyone, for that matter?"
