Following her gaze over his shoulder, Ronin tilts his head at the archways, the gesture betraying how impressed he is. "Will you be building things as a part of your field work, then?" he asks, assuming that would be the case. It all gets more and more strange, dispatching an architect outside of Stormbreak - but Ronin isn't here to pick her brain about that. He also isn't here to stand for Sugar's shit, the Star raising his eyebrows at the pale reptile in a warning.
She grumbles and snaps her teeth in response, but drapes around his shoulders nonetheless and trills out an apology to the hatchling that has departed from around Sera's shoulders. "Self defence it is, then. Follow me." Ronin smiles, turning on heel and abandoning whatever project he'd been taking a break from (making training dummies, mostly, and if all of them looked a bit like Cian, well that's just a coincidence) to lead her further into the grounds.
They arrive, soon enough, at a small sandy area kitted out for close combat, Ronin stepping into the arena and beckoning for her to follow. "I don't know about you, but I learn best by doing. How much experience do you have already?"
