Bastien, ever perceptive when it came to the people around him, picked up on Deimos' shock as the General first laid eyes on Azrael; he watched carefully to see if anything would be said (and a defensive part of him wondered if Deimos considered his child an abomination as others did); when it wasn't he smiled and came to sit down, pleased to see Azrael quietly sitting too.
Chuckling first upon hearing Deimos had earned the title of 'Uncle', he turned to speak, to get right to business. "Unfortunately not only social needs or the enjoyment of the nature.
