Osozo didn't verbally acknowledge Arialla's call, which she still wasn't sure they could even receive -- but then she realized that even if they did, she wasn't sure she'd be able to hear them from this far up. The eagle had great hearing, but that great? Arialla did see Osozo look up at her, so she decided to take that as an invitation to swoop down and land, taking her human form once she'd settled herself on the grass. She dreamed that someday she'd be able to switch forms right as she landed -- to swoop down as an eagle but have her human feet hit the ground -- but so far her practice attempts at that had not gone well, and she didn't want to have one of those embarrassing falls in front of Osozo.
"Osozo?" Arialla repeated after landing, speaking with her human mouth this time. "What are you doing out here?"
She wasn't completely sure it was them -- they looked a bit like a strange vision at the best of times, so Arialla wouldn't have been completely shocked to find that she spoke only to some hallucination created by Caido's wandering magic.
