She hummed under her breath at the sort of, instinctively taking his hand to rise, almost absent-mindedly, habitual to receive and grant kindness, benevolence in return. Then she brought it back to her basket, fingers rambling around for something else but not finding it immediately, half-distracted in the midst of the conversation. “In the Greatwood,” she muttered too, writing it down – never having been there, with no reason to go.

Frey constructs some wonderful things.” Her eyes went back to the sapling as it maneuvered under his touch, reaching forth to do the same, lighter, softer, and not pulling back or away when it quivered and shuddered.
The name flickering forth should’ve sounded familiar – and maybe it would’ve, had she been a member of the Order. No demigod enamoring from her – just normalcy, and an illuminated smile. “Lena.” Another vague head tilt, placing her pencil behind her ear. “What brings you here?” Which could’ve meant anything and anywhere; she’d let him fill in the rest.
