Coffee and muffins are a wonderful way to get Milo’s attention, his hands easily swiping one cup and a muffin to devour. And after yesterday’s blunder, Milo’s inspecting his fingers for any left behind splinters from days prior until everyone else arrives – a smirk given toward Aurelia with a nod. “Gonna try not to. Can’ make any promises, though.” A wink is given towards her before he’s bringing the beds in.
Or at least… Attempting to. The first bed goes in relatively smoothly, a stubbed toe has him barking a curse. But he recovers, shifting toward moving in the next bed. And it all goes fucking poorly from there. The wall is hit and in his surprise, he drops it square on his foot. A mixture of curses leaving him again and again, spying Ray as she arrives to check on him and all he can do is offer a quiet laugh through the pain and an apology.
Seems like the others have just about as shitty of a day.
Luckily with Ray’s help and the bandage, he manages to help her set up the rooms. As for the next day? He already intends to help fix the dent in the wall since he was the one that caused it. He arrives without a limp though, flashing an almost amused smile Ray’s way. Turns out he’s got healing magic, and managed to heal much of the pain in his foot the night in between. Still, he says nothing to Nate’s appearance, simply offering a grateful grin back and grabbing another coffee and slice of cake to start.
Then he gathers the required materials and gets to work repairing the wall.
