"We're out here in the middle of the Rainbow Road at night while the stars are shining overhead. So we can collect... rocks. And this is going to stop the monsoons being so bad?"
It sounds ridiculous no matter how many times she says it, hence her checking with Zeph to make sure that she's definitely got her facts straight. "Do you think they have to be big rocks? Or will any old pebble do?" Leaning down, she scoops a flat pebble into her hands, sighing at the tide so far away.
"It's a shame. A lot of these are good for skipping."
