All things considered, Pet has settled back into the waking world easily. Perhaps it's made easier by the fact that this is the second time it's happened for him, death not sticking to him for one reason or another. Coming here, the Voice's intervention. Ascension seems to suit Pet, comfortable as one of his oversized sweaters. It helps that he'd not indulged in much when he could, that there was very little to miss, when compared to everything he had gained. He's happy to sit at the table with Adam, a drink that is more syrup than liquid in front of him, surrounded by other's revelling.
Even Peter isn't so dense as to not notice the tension surrounding Adam, the bouncing leg, the way his eyes dart around. He doesn't know what to do about it though, except to reach a hand out for Adam's, rough fingers squeezing tight and bright eyes waiting for the other man to look over to him. "Hey... Adam?" Pet cocks his head as the words leave him, his free hand retracting back into himself, tucked away into some hidden pocket, or fold of clothing.
