Mildew's eyes caught the bird flying down and she was already ready to greet it if it weren't human; the transformation was a surprise, not necessarily a good or bad one. Gracefully she stood on the edge of the rock ledge and turned to look over the newcomer. She was sweet looking, young (though to Mildew, most humans were young) and polite. A good start.
