I’m… used to having everything get taken away and rather than be fiercely attached I get stuck in a loop of trying to act as though I can control it. I can’t. But I still try to.” He doesn’t even know if that makes sense, but he charges on.
One deep inhale. “Things happen quickly here. If you aren’t home I’ll start sending things to you to keep you updated, how’s that?” An attempt at him trying.
