Aurelia doesn't say much in the way of taking advantage of the offer, merely gives him a thoughtful stare as it drifts away. She does have a vague idea that it just might give her a better chance of getting into Safrin's favor. But a part of her would rather try that on her own... something about using a demi-god to get an answer seems like cheating. At least, maybe at first. If nothing works for her, then maybe she'll call for Ronin or Sunjata.The bottle is, indeed, finished off by her. She plops it back into the sand with a soft sigh. Her gaze lifts back up to Ronin at the declaration of being Sunjata's best friend, and that fact does resonate with her a bit. As if Sunjata had told her before, but she can't really be sure; foggy memory thanks to the booze and all that. "He's a good friend to have," she muses quietly.
"Your daughter!?" She blurts out, pulling herself more upright to incline her head. Her expression contorts with more of the context he gives her and she has to admit, that's astonishing. For what seems like a long time, she's stunned into silence trying to wrap her head around all the shit he's explained away so nonchalantly. "Wow..." her brows furrow deeply before she's practically pummeling Ronin with questions, "Wait, what did you tell her no about? Had to of been something big, right? What did she want you to do?"
Somewhere from not too far away, an unattended fire has caught hold of something and might gradually creep into their peripherals as it spreads.
