For a moment, the air is still and dense and dark. It stretches thick between the two of them, like invisible amber holding them in place. And then he speaks and it all shatters, and she's free.
The muscles beneath her coat ripple with power unbefitting her slender limbs as she suddenly spins in the false moonlight. Galloping into the darkness of her enclosure, the stars follow overhead lighting her way into the enclosure. Snow flies around her hooves as her tail streaks out like a banner behind her, proud and energetic. Skidding to a stop in a movement both playful and powerful, Tobi turns again and races back toward Finn. Starlight bounces off her coat in silvery ripples as her nose tucks toward her chest as if to make her more aerodynamic.
There is precious little stopping time between her and the Spyglass now, and only a small barrier between them. But stop Tobi does, her hooves digging into the snow as her forelegs rise into the air. Drawn up to her full height, Tobi's whinny is like a silver peel of laughter from a choir of bells, accompanied by the low thud of drums as her hooves touch back down.
Wordlessly of course, the unicorn flicks an uncertain ear toward Finn as an idea forms in her mind. Tossing her head, her mane flowing fluidly across her neck, she prances in place, trying to communicate her idea to the man before her.
