Given his magic he could create on the fly much of what he needed, but that did not mean he wanted to extend himself unnecessarily. That being said though, he was more or less along to journal whatever it was they might find below, not to fight. Though Remi had gained considerable muscle since arriving in Caido, he was still nowhere near in as good as shape as the two Ro's were.
