"Oh. Uh...well, he was with me..." Adam rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. This, in conjunction with the surprise at his afterlife news...he was pretty sure he was witnessing the decay of Sunjata and Nate's marriage, and he really didn't want to be in the middle of that. He knew from his own experiences just how messy divorce drama could be. "But I guess he didn't come home, huh?"
He shuffled on the spot, wondering if he should tell Sunjata all he knew. If Nate was trying to hide from spousal drama, did he really have any right to reveal him? "Last night, yeah. Look, if there's something going on between you two, I don't really want to have to pick sides, so..." Not that he actually knew all that much more anyway; he had hardly been concerned about anyone else once he'd landed back home.
