Gently, she cracked through the first layer of enamel, then through the fleshier levels and strange marrow that somehow felt different than human. It was slow because she had to be careful not to shatter it, but eventually Min felt the fang give way in her hands and then split in two, one half in each hand. She pulled the two halves apart, resulting in a mostly neat cross-section, with a few imperfections but good enough to study. Once she had accomplished this she sat with them on her lap and waited for the experiment to continue.
