But the attention returned back to the story, the one layered and lacquered with triumph – of Adam and Kiada riding into the storm with their brethren, huffing a laugh in return. He could envision the former going for glory and impetuousness all in one fell swoop.
“Congratulations,” was an offering from the Sword – of some measure dipped in glory, a smile that met his piercing eyes, dimpled cheeks beneath the beard. “Does that mean the whole mission was a success?” He didn’t know, uncertain of the parameters and particulars.
