But there's something much more important to deal with before she delivers the instructions to rebuild the Torchline shrine. And as Nate begins to speak, the Voice does appear, stepping out the crackling tree trunk as her holographic self.
Her static eyes are sharp and angry as her bright one explains, but the fury is not at Nate, no. Moving closer still, she reaches up to gently rest her hands upon his cheeks, peering deep into his eyes. And she senses it, what has been done, and around them the woods seem to spark and crackle, as if burned by a lightning storm. "Oh, Nate," she hisses. "You could have come to me. You can always come to me."
