But sometimes it isn’t always better than what you have before.” Sometimes the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. And sometimes that was the hardest lesson of all.
“For what it’s worth I’m glad that you’re looking out for them and the Halenani.” In a place like Torchline before he’d arrived, it had been even more lawless, more dangerous. And he had tried to protect them inadvertently, when he was Arbiter. So far it had worked, and so far he was glad to hear from her that they were safe.
