Aurelia
and that the world is always our fault
when we did nothing, how did we do wrong?
when we did nothing, how did we do wrong?
A valuable lesson for the thieves, indeed, as they struggle to assemble themselves and limp away. If they can, anyway. Aurelia will make no moves to help or hinder them. She stands beside the box like an immovable statue, watching them leave, until Melita arrives beside her with the shuffle of feet, quiver, and Fangorn's vines. Aurelia casts a dark, green gaze towards her before it's flickering over the large crate.
She lifts the top to examine the contents within. Fortunately, nothing took damage - except, perhaps, the box itself. It may not survive another load, dinged up as it is. However, the bottles and trinkets and whatever else within, are all in pristine condition. "Looks fine, and it doesn't seem like anything is missing," Aurelia makes a point of letting Melita see for herself before she closes it up and gives it a pat for good measure.
"Well, let's haul it back... I'm sure Jack won't mind if we take a bit of rum for a reward, huh?"

and I've been thinking that when we thought
the world would break us, that we weren't wrong
the world would break us, that we weren't wrong
