Though her companion’s feelings regarding the man are quite clear, Loki has spotted the peryton and the curious, bold little dragon is able to separate herself from Wessex in order to investigate. Her screeches fade to something less aggressive - even inquisitive - and she turns on a wing, spiraling down to investigate the unknown.
Wessex, on the other hand, has little interest in the new companion. That Loki has so easily abandoned her to her slow smolder is unfortunate, but perhaps for the better. She doesn’t need emotional reinforcement here. “Deimos.” She nods, accepting his overtures but doing nothing to reciprocate as her arms remain tightly folded across her chest.
Unsure what to expect this time, she takes a few steps closer and gestures for him to continue, figuring she has little to say until after he finishes, and even that is a murky horizon.
