Carefully, he deposits his bag back down on the table, pressing both hands back through his dark hair. "Welcome home indeed," he whispers, and it sounds a touch bittersweet despite himself. Conjuring a smile as he glances back at the madame, he ducks into a half bow. "Your kindness is unlike anything I have ever experienced in such places," he admits, and he means it.
"I have the basics, though I only have what I am wearing on my back for clothing. I can wear whatever is available."
