"Hey, you can't help it if you can't speak to him yourself. If you knew where he was, I'm sure you'd go and have that conversation," Ronin says, before offering her a small smile that tells her more than any explanation ever could. "Remi and I have had our trials and tribulations." It's the only thing he can say without making this all about him, and so he leaves it there so he might be able to save Tobi from her broken cup and nausea.
"Ginger, and crackers. I think I can manage that." So saying, Ronin moves to collect up the teapot again to boil some more hot water, grabbing some ginger root out of the cupboard overhead. He finds a package of crackers, too (they're for Mateo and shaped like little stars, but he doesn't think his son will mind sharing), offering them out to Tobi while he waits to make her some different tea.
