A breathy laugh pushes past her lips and she regrets it instantly, hissing as her ribs flare with pain. Her jaw clenches, teeth gritting together as she waits for it to pass. "I was worse before. Concussion and bruised ribs. Apparently this is normal after such injuries." She doesn't mention that she hasn't been taking the pain killers they gave her. Nor does she mention that she's not had anything more to eat than a bit of toast here or there. For being so good at taking care of others, she's shit at taking care of herself.
