"Uh, yeah, it was," she agrees awkwardly. Her unintentional visit to the Climb is something she hasn't expressly told him about, nor the events that took place beforehand. She's kept it internalized so far, not wanting to weigh him down with such unnecessary burdens. It already feels like it didn't really happen.
Milo is curious about the witch and she figured it might catch his attention. "Yep, that's right," she nods, feeling humorous, "a witch. I'm on her good side though, so just... stick with me and you'll be fine," and she flashes him a wink over her shoulder as she approaches the tree.
He lifts her and, with the assistance, she's able to get to the branch. She grits her teeth with a hiss of pain as she puts pressure on her arm, which in turn strains the scabs built over her wound. Otherwise, she makes it with little issue from that point - and also pretends she didn't just make 'ouch that hurt' noises.
She waits until she's sure that she's got a good grip and balance before she turns toward him. "Yeah, basically," she heaves a deeper breath, pausing to explain, "it's mainly to get a lay of the land and make sure things look alright. We can identify landmarks for later.. and see if there's any animals around. Never hurts to get a bird's eye view," she trails off and shrugs down at him, assuming he gets the idea, "unless you're afraid of heights," she smirks as she reaches out to help him up with her good arm.
Once she helps him up, she'll start leading the way up the tree. She tries to ensure they take the safest path up, checking branches before she puts weight on them and steering away from those that appear too thin to hold them.
About halfway up she glances at him and asks curiously, "You don't happen to still have that spyglass, do you?" The one he'd used on the ship. It wouldn't be necessary but it would definitely be nice.
