the flood
Things had started to settle and yet the storms continued to rage on. Nate was back now, though, and he’s finally gotten a moment of peace, to be able to filter through everything that had happened and he still hadn’t had a good heart to heart with his sister. Everything had happened so fast and that plus taking care of Kamaria and those that had been brought to the home because of the storms, well, it had been put off.
He hopes she understands.
So he’s managed to find some food, something Nate’s prepared because gods knew that he couldn’t prepare anything halfway decent, and with the plates in hand he makes his way to her room. It’s a bit of a juggle, but he manages to knock on her door before toeing it open. “Saartjie,” he pauses, his voice dripping into their native Korofi. “Are you hungry?”
