He is much larger than a crow - nearly twice the size - with a sharp beak and eyes like rubies. Hopping onto her knee (and very careful of his sharp talons) he looks up at her. “Se-ren!” The croak is clearly not human, as is the cadence of her name, but he preens all the same in a proud ruffle of feathers.
