Coming back to sunshine and clear skies shouldn't have been so shocking, but given the state of Torchline when she left it the Madame is left reeling. The walk up to Sunjata's home is a familiar one by this point and she has no problem following the path that leads to the cliffside home, taking a few moments to appreciate the view of the sea. She draws in a deep breath, letting the salty sweet air fill her lungs as she adjusts her bag on her shoulder. Maeve hadn't planned on coming back here, but she didn't have anywhere else to stay. It would be temporary and Sunjata had told her he would do whatever was needed to help her out. Including letting her stay with them.
She approaches the door, reaching up and knocking with enough force that whoever is nearby will at least hear her. Nerves twist in her belly and she tightens her grip on her bag, finding a smile is already starting to tug on the corners of her lips. She was glad to be home.
