The ice has formed a mirror-hard surface over head. As Aurelia's hands and elbows and forearms bang against it, she'll find that her reflection wables and waivers.

Her reflection spiderwebs and cracks, and she continues to fight for her right to breathe, pieces of her soul shift and change. The eyes gazing down at her from her frightened reflection snarl and sway, and when finally the girl is able to push her way through, the eyes that Aurelia sees the world with shall be very different.
A single sheet of ice floats around the smuggler; the fog has lifted and the bank is easily within sight. All that remains of the strange experience is the rapidly melting chill around her, and..
..wait, no. Something is different. Breathing in, Aurelia will find that...it feels different than it did before. Blinking feels slightly different, her hands feel slightly different...and yet the world remains entirely as it had been before.
