The young Celestine caretaker strolled alongside the gates, pausing only here and there to inspect some multitude of plants springing up between cracks and cobblestones, pondering at their healing possibilities and potentials. Once in a while she’d crouch, snag at a portion, and place them in her customary basket on her arm, then continue meandering, distracted, and then glancing towards the sun to see how much longer she had until she was required back amongst the gardens and enclosures.
The sound of another caused her head to whip upwards, quickly, swiftly, much like that of a bird, swiveling her head back and forth, until her gaze rested on an unfamiliar soul – and a dragon.
Of course, she was much more intrigued by the latter. Standing and walking calmly, a smile emerged upon her features as she wandered closer and closer, all confidence and radiance, announcing her presence. “Hello!” Sparks of electricity shuffled their way along wide-open jaws, and she maintained her smile, even if her eyes rounded. “How strong and powerful you are,” she cooed to the beast, forgetting the poor man who was being subjected to the torment.
