Drawing up a chair next to Jigano, she couldn't help but laugh at the insistent cheeping from the hungry little thing.
"Well, however long she is going to live, she's certainly got an appetite for life," she remarked, examining the gryphlet as if for the first time now. "An owl, yes," she agreed, plucking up some of the scraps of meat and dutifully feeding them to the hatchling.
"If she's anything like any other baby, as much as you'll give her. You'll have to be wary not to overfeed her. But she seems otherwise healthy, my friend. Congratulations, I think?"
