Still, her words distract him, even as he sets the cup down and reaches for a towel to dry the spot down his whole front. “So you went and talked to her, then?” He grins, vibrant and bright as he peers up at her, managing to get nowhere when it comes to trying to clean up the slight stain in his woolen shirt.
