Tobi
Tobi's pulse is loud in her ears, and as her blood begins to flow back to places it properly belongs, awareness of her surroundings and the moment are once again able to take hold. Looking around dazedly at first but with growing comprehension, Tobi struggles to sit up slightly but finds that, despite how pleasant the experience had been, her hips and legs utterly refuse to be called upon just now.
"Finn." She whispers his name, squeaking it out as if there was a bubble caught in the back of her throat. Releasing him, Tobi stretches her fingers out to where one of the nurses has wrapped their baby in a cream cloth. "Please. Please let me hold him." They don't deny her of course, placing the boy into her arms.
Cradling him close, Tobi smoothes away one of his balled-up fists from his eyes. "Look how much hair he has." She whispers awe-struck, her heart fit to burst and her body exhausted. Cracking open his eyes, their son's gaze is a typical dark-blue that most children seem to start out with. It's a perfect mirror of Finn's, and for a moment the boy looks up at his father as if able to see right through him. Promptly though, he yawns, scrunched his face, and turns back against Tobi.
