"Try melting it, you too" she told the dragon in encouraging tones; it was as good a start as any.
The Blue gave her a steady look that held many unvoiced opinions on delegating workloads; but after a single snort to mark his displeasure, he complied. Circling the spot on steady wings, the young dragon breathed in and breathed out a long, blue-white jet of fire, directed at the sea-ice.
