Melita might’ve given out some fathom of a wave towards Maea and the stranger, but there wasn’t any time for that.
Instead, Ronin’s assault did the trick: rising out of the sand was some boney figment and form – leaving her with key notions of ghost whales. Except they weren’t out in the ocean, and her charm wouldn’t hold any relevance here. Which was fine – this was all in good fun (she resisted jumping up and down in excitement).
But instead of mulling over those unfortunate circumstances, the youth shouted over to Ronin. “Can I use a cloud?” Vantage points, hoping to gain some access, higher and higher and higher, to shoot, to maul, to devastate. Wasn’t that what they’d come here for?
With the elements already picked and notched, it wouldn’t take the youth long to volley one, intending to hit and maim as best she could. Icy figments, first, a trial run.
