Only, there was no unifying force to keep them all together. Torn between Safrin and the Voice, and between Safrin and Ludo, it would never be the kind of harmonious flock Sah had been brought up in.
"What does the alpha do? Is it like being... oh, I don't know - Warden? Or Governor?" she wondered, intrigued by the word and reaching for something similar, more familiar. It implied leadership, that much she knew, and he had told her about the need to gain the respect of others. It was... admittedly a little difficult to place Sah in that kind of role. He looked so very young. Not much older than herself.
The grimace as he handled the mug was not lost on her, nor the way Sah favored one of his hands.
"Are you alright?" she asked, gesturing towards the finger.
