Nodding in dark agreement at that, Remi's eyebrows shoot up and then draw tightly together as she mentions being called names, of the trial being a farce. "I never thought it would ever come to this, when I named Sunjata as Governor." The alchemist grumbles.
Hotaru's concern has a sly and deadly smile drawing across Remi's lips. "I have told Nate in no uncertain terms that I would not hesitate to take his life. There is very little he could try and do to me that he has not done already." There is very little he could try and do, fullstop. "I will tell them what I have done and if they have issue with it, they can take it up with me." Feathers unhappily bloom in his curls as Remi sets his jaw. It was a perfect storm between all of them that leads them into this moment, and whether it's righteous or completely stupid that Remi goes along so willingly, he doesn't consider.
"The Greatwood is likely the safest place. The ascended cannot wander in without starting a war, and the stronghold you helped build should prove much more comfortable than this. But..." With a shrug that's suddenly soft as he regards her, Remi inclines his head slightly. "It is up to you. Tell me where you want to go."
