"So you know how to shoot already?" he asks, keeping his eyes peeled for anything coming right at them through the mist. "We can find you a safe place to stand, and I'll go out and flush some of the gourds towards us. Not that I think they'll need much encouragement."
It feels weird, to be doing something so comparatively carefree in a place so dangerous.
