The sharp whistle has Ray's ears flattening in displeasure. The sound reverberates uncomfortably in her shifted ears. But seeing the coming hoard that she'd been hearing for a bit actually appear? That takes precedence. The cat takes up post at the front of the building, ears back and tail lashing in the air. Ray bares her teeth, a loud, threatening growl spilling from her throat.
Her eyes on the pumpkin pests are slitted with focus and anger. Any gourds that come near her will not last long. There's a moment of silence, and then the hoard is upon them. Ray roars and jumps into the fray, quickly sinking claws and teeth into the nearest gourds.
