The quest to find unicorns hasn't yet begun, as Aurelia waits for the volunteers to arrive. The sun is just beginning to rise. Its feeble, early rays shine down across her makeshift camp, where she's spent the night prior. A small sleeping tent and a little campfire are nestled off to the edge of the King's End, meant to catch the eyes of those looking for her. Several horses are hitched nearby, grazing idly.
Since it's still early, Aurelia is currently working on feeding the campfire so that she might collect some warmth from it. The skin along her shoulders and toward her arms is covered in thick tiger fur, since she doesn't think completely shifting would be a good idea. A giant tiger would be liable to frighten the horses, she thinks.
So, she sits by the fire, poking at it with her magic to keep it strong. The only plan, really, is to wait for everyone to show up. But even when she hears the audible snap of a twig, it's jarring. She nearly jumps out of her skin, the fur along her shoulders practically bristling. She jumps to her feet almost immediately when she sees a flash of color in the thickets. "Hey! Who's there!?"
Without further ado, a group of vampire gourds come hissing out of the grass towards Aurelia and the horses. Their vines claw outward, reaching across the ground, not caring as they knock over a kettle into the fire and trample the tent. An exasperated groan parts her lips. "Oy, fuck right off!" She snaps, Torchline accent clear in her tone as she kicks a smaller one when it draws too near. It goes flying into a boulder with a SPLAT!
