Hotaru is grateful for these men, for the way they follow her mind so easily, understanding the intricacies that sprawl beyond the breadth of her spoken words. With tasks presented, claimed, and undertaken, they all get to work. Hotaru is pleasantly surprised by how tidy the rooms are, and the rooms are completed far faster than she anticipated initial. With the singular wastebasket in hand, she exits the last office and checks in on where Deimos and Noah are at with their own tasks.
Deimos’ enchantments are working, but it is a slow process to unwind and part everything conjured from the grain of the wood. Half of the door itself has been cleaned off, but the remainder as well as the entirety of the frame it had once been conjoined to remains to be repaired.
Noah’s box has less luck, if Deimos had much in comparison. The wood had been warped by being by the window, and as such the corners refuse to align. Confident Deimos’ magic will work with time, Hotaru heads to help her fellow Warden, and lowers herself slowly into a chair beside him. “Need some help? I can help hold the corners while you nail.” No sense in wasting the wood for such a small project. Doing so, she begins to align the corners, holding them tight and flush against the warp so Noah can begin nailing them together.
