Maeve
Maeve's shopping list from Safrin was simple enough. Sentient vine, leather, fire, and a feather. All fairly easy things to get. Only one of them required any real work on her part and she would have been more than capable of heading into the jungle to get herself some vine, but as soon as she mentioned it to Aurelia, the Fireheart refused to allow such a thing. Hence why this trek into the Oerwoud is being made with the woman at her side, ever watchful as they slowly pick their way through the underbrush, looking for a good patch of vines to pick from.
"You know I really could have come out here by myself. We aren't even that far in." Maeve glances over at Aurelia, a small smile curling on her lips, finding the whole thing rather amusing. Hadn't she just told Sunjata the other day that Aurelia was a bit of a hellcat lately? As of late it's been her way or the highway. Especially when it came to things that were physically demanding. The woman insisting that Maeve take it easy, not caring that she was still early on in her pregnancy and still plenty capable of doing things on her own.
