They're on a beach, but not one that exists in this world. It might as well have been Torchline though, for the sandy shores and bright blue ocean. Hotaru will find herself just a few feet away from a building made of wood, poorly painted white, with a yellow door propped open. She will still be pregnant, but here at least, all her discomfort will be gone.
There is the sound of singing on the breeze and given how few speak with Remi's dialect (just Bastien, really), it's fair to assume who the Valkyrie will find within the building. It's a bar, as it turns out, with bare shelves behind a bar, broken windows that open onto the sea, and a few knocked over chairs surrounding grubby tables. Inside, Remi has placed a crate of label-less bottles, and he's currently wiping down the counter with a rag that looks as though it's probably adding as much grime as it is taking away. Even so, the atmosphere is cheerful and whimsical thanks to the warm light pouring through and the sweet smell of the sea all around them.
